99% PURE CHLORINE DIOXIDE
INJECTION for SUPERIOR BIOFILM CONTROL in IRRIGATION SYSTEMS
REDUCE MAINTENANCE, LABOR, AND COST
WHILE MAXIMIZING NUTRIENT UPTAKE

How It Works
-
Full-strength Chlorine Dioxide solution is stored in a double-walled tank inside the facility
-
Our chemistry enters the irrigation system via injection coil and diaphragm pump
-
Injection rate is measured using state-of-the-art flow meters in the fresh water line
-
Dilution rate is tuned by measuring for a CLO2 residual at the end of the irrigation system.
-
Treatment Injection schedules are prescribed based on system design, source water makeup, and existing disease pressure
-
Effective at a broad pH range (2.5-10) and non reactive to fertilizers
-
EPA-registered (#73139-1)
Biofilm Tank Shock Treatment Timelapse
For severely bio-fouled fertigation
and irrigation systems, a reset is needed. We can clean out the system by performing a "shock" to eliminate biofilm. A de-slough and sanitization is recommended prior to FERTox system activation.
Configuration
Fertigation rooms have different configurations and every facility has its own unique needs.
The optimal set-up for the FERTox is decided after assessing the water supply (municipal or well), usage/flow rates, and fertigation system design.
Multiple injection sites may be considered. Dosing is determined through iterative testing via a demand test. (Configuration seen below is for illustration purposes only)

Plant Health Benefits

Enhanced nutrient uptake
-
Kills fusarium, pythium, phytophthora, thielaviopsis, aspergillus and coliforms
-
Consistent water flow during the entire grow cycle; prevents clogging
-
Non-reactive with most nutrient formulations
-
Works in a wide pH range of 2.5-10
-
Prevents algae, mold, and slime on plant substrate
